PRIOR TO TREATMENT:
- Once you have booked an appointment. Please fill out all waivers and contraindication forms prior to coming in to make sure you are a good candidate. Feel free to book a skin consult if you are unsure of anything.
- Avoid any skincare actives, (especially medical grade ones) for about 4-5 days before your treatment date.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Your skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 12-24 hours depending on skin sensitivity.
- It is not uncommon to purge within a week post-treatment. This is normal as facials can stimulate cell turnover and bring impurities to the surface of your skin.
- Client experiences may vary. Some clients may experience a delayed onset of these symptoms.
- Skin will feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and hydrated.
POST-TREATMENT CARE:
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen.
- Try not to put any water on your face for 24 hours
- Stay away from heat: i.e. hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga/exercising for 24 hours
- Avoid any actives for 24-48 hours after treatment (Ex. Glycolic acid, salicylic acid, retinol, hydroquinone etc. )
- Stay hydrated and drink lots of water
- For best, long-term results book at least once a month.
