Zahra is a dynamic entrepreneur whose journey is marked by creativity, passion, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. With over 15 years of experience as a graphic designer, she took the plunge and transitioned from the world of digital artistry towards her other true passion…skin care!
Driven by her love for skincare and a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, Zahra made a bold career shift, obtaining her license as a medical aesthetician from an Accredited Career College in Ontario and embarking on a transformative path. In her quest to merge her expertise in design with her passion for skin, Zahra founded her own medspa with her talented and passionate business partner Ruby. Being coloured women from ethnic and south asian backgrounds, both Ruby and Zahra share the same vision of wanting to not only embrace all different skin tones and skin types in their treatments, but also break the cultural taboos and create customized, safe and personalized experiences for all in a boutique, luxurious setting.
Among her array of specialties, Zahra’s proficiency is in laser hair removal as well as custom luxury facials. With precision and expertise, she delivers results that help empower her clients to embrace their skin with confidence and grace. Her greatest reward lies in seeing her clients journey unfold towards skin they truly love.
Ruby is a multi-faceted individual whose life journey is filled with diverse experiences and passions. At 36 years young, she navigates life as a devoted mother to twin daughters, a wife and the business owner of a medical spa.
With a decade-long tenure in the government public service sector, Ruby honed her skills in diplomacy and advocacy, playing a pivotal role in facilitating efficient public service delivery. Her passion however, has always been in skin. As a self-professed “Skin Geek,” she has channeled her life long fascination with skincare into a career as a licensed medical aesthetician from an accredited Career College in Ontario, where she met her business partner, Zahra and dived into the world of aesthetics as medspa owners.
Ruby has dedicated her years to understanding the importance of diversity in skin colour and skin type and how it’s never a “one solutions suits all” approach and that great skin care and skin treatments should be safe and effective for ALL of us. She takes pride in custom creating treatment plans and transforming her clients’ skincare journeys with personalized care and expertise. The satisfaction of seeing her clients’ results over time is her truly the driving force in her career.
